I'm looking at some Mud Grapplers too and found this video on Youtube. Sounds like a low flying airplane.

BTW... I love the sound!

X2 yes they are loud but not bad with windows up. But as said they are killer off road and do ride surprisingly smooth. They do tend to take some weight to balance but not bad

sure, nitto trail grapplers or toyo mt's. all are made by the same company and all perform extremely well. these tires may not be as agressive as their big brother but, they are a lot quiter on pavement.

it's almost a shame that nitto used the word "trail" in their trail grapplers as it gives them a "less than" sounding name. the trail grapplers are by no means an AT or lesser tire but rather, a through and through tough tire with agressive MT tread design. i have personally tested these out in the hammers and can tell you they perform exceptionally well on the rocks, have the same bulletproof side walls as the toyos and mud grapplers and behave very well on pavement - very quite for an MT tread. while i have been a toyo guy for quite a while now, i liked the trail grapplers so much that i already bought a set for our new dozer JK and will be running them as soon as we get it lifted.

Yeah I'm thinking of going with the trail grapplers. Once again, wise words from WOL! You really know your jeep stuff.

damn!!!!

just saw that they make the Trail Grapplers in 37x12.5x17's.

May have to cancel my Tire Rack order for the KM2's and head over to Discount Tire and order these. Come off of backorder this week too

Anyone know what the actual size of the Trails Grapplers are? I see 36.8" on their site but not sure how accurate that is at like 27 psi

I've had 35 inch mud grapplers for 33,000 miles and just set my superchips Speedo to them yesterday'. They measured 33.75 inches. I believe when I set the Speedo when I first got them they were about 34...maybe 34.5.

I think I can get another 20,000 out of them (rotating the spare in).
