I currently have 60,000 miles put on a set of 33x11.50-16 Mud Grapplers I put on Dec. 07. I have kept them balanced and rotated every oil change, and they run as good as the day I bought them. They have about 25%+ left.

I have the trail grapplers wayoflife is talking about and could not be more pleased. Great off road, really aggresive but without the loud road noise and they handle great on the pavement. A week after i got them i drove 1000 miles to Florida and back and they rode great and the road noise is very tolerable to be a MT. I agree with Wayoflife, the only thing wrong is the name because they are way more capable of taking on a lot more than your average trail.

Yes Im sure they are a really good tire but Im sure they cant compare with the mud grapplers when it comes to mud. The mud grapplers from what I have seen are the best mud terrian tire other then interco tires.

That's awesome mileage! I only got about 30K out the Mud Grapplers I had on my Titan. A full sized truck is a completely different animal though. Are you going to run them again or try something else next time?

Actually you would be surprised what the trail grapplers can do in the mud. No they aren't swampers, but they are definitely on par or better than some of the others mud terrains available. And the sidewalls are just awesome

I saw a FJ with 33x12.50R18 mud grapplers on it and pulled over to look at it. The owner came out and said that they are his second set, and he also got 60k miles on his first set with rotations every 6k miles. He liked them so much, that he put them on his plow truck for the winter time.

I was planning on it. I bought them from you guys and now I see that you don't have the size available anymore. I wanted to by 3 new 33x11.50-16. They are the perfect tire IMO. Looking today I have about 15+% left so I need to get some fairly soon.
If those aren't available then I may try the trail grapplers.

Sorry to bring up this thread again, but the noise when the windows are up is bearable, and acutally pretty cool. But how about with the top off? Any experiences?

if your talking about the mud grappler noise, I personally will not run a different tire. I have run KM2's, mickey thompson baja claws, and the mud grapplers and love them!! I think the noise is bad ass. Its like your jeep is turned into aB52 bomber. People will get out of your way.
