I'm no scientist but pure CO is 3 percent lighter than air. I misspoke about it being heavier. I can tell you that I installed a CO monitor in my garage and it took it almost 10 minutes to hit 25 ppm (still at OSHA acceptable level) with the doors down. How long would it take it to reach that in the open? Again, before catalytic converters exhaust had 25 percent CO now they have less than 1. On a cold morning you can see where the exhaust flows and it rolls out the back just like it did with the tailpipe on it. Theres no big cloud sitting under the jeep stuck with nowhere to go but into he cab. It works fine on my Jeep. If you don't trust it, don't do it.

Sound isn't as loud as the FM 40 either. Actually, this is probably one of the quieter performance mufflers you'll find.
Any idea if this is the muffler you went with?

Not really wanting a loud muffler, just one that fits in the relocated position...sounds like this one will work good

Awww man I was really hoping you would have a sound clip of this set up cause Im really interested in running it. How would you compare it with just the sound of removing the muffler?

And exhaust noise is pretty subjective, with the top off my Jeep all I hear is loud tires and a little bit of music.
