yes, 50 is mellower than 40, and i have the Delta Flow one. There is no drone whatsoever going 60 MPH and up. Once you've turn on your stereo, you can't even hear the muffler.

I have flowmaster 40 series relocated underneath the drivers side... love it, sounds great especially when the jeep is cold.

I'd like to see a setup with the exhaust ran out infront of the rear tire. I've always liked that look.

The magnaflow is VERY quiet. When I start it or rev it you can hear a little rumble but to someone who doesn't know...it could sound stock. I actually wish it was louder and I'm not a bg fan of really loud exhaust.

Question

What type of configuration should i be looking for in a muffler to be installed under the driver side?
2.25" Center in-offset out?
Center in-center out?

How is the Magnaflo muffler configured with the Cool Tech kit?

I have seen some for sell through a local classified add and was wondering?

if you're putting it on the stock location, you can go with either 2.25" or 2.5" muffler. 0.25" won't make a difference at all on that short run. I have offset-offset 2.25" on mine, Flowmaster 50 Delta Flow. It tucked nicely back there

The magnaflow has an offset on one side and the other side is centered.

If you go to the CoolTechLLC website you can see a pic of the unit installed.
