I own a exhaust shop and I have a 08 JK rubicon, I put a 18" magnaflow muffler on first. Sounded pretty good, kinda mellow for my taste and had a bad drone at 2500rpm. So I took the magnaflow off and installed a Aero 2525 muffler in it place and added a 4" chrome tip. Sounds great! And no more drone! And you could put this muffler in front of axle if you wanted to.

I think I have some pictures of my exhaust in my gallery.

Default aero exhaust

Anybody else try 2.5" Aero Exhaust 2525xl? Buddy of mine has one on his Ford Ranger and raves about the exhaust.

I had an Aero 4040L split on my pickup. Pretty disappointing for what they cost.

Had this made today just a simple off-road pipe 40 bucks sounds just fine up 4000 rpm then it starts to show its true mini-van power plant colors. As far as performance i was getting 23.8 mpg at 65 mph so im happy with it and it only takes a few min to swap it back to the stock muffler

So, you just eliminated the muffler, right?

I have a Magnaflow and I am happy with it so far. I wish it was little louder though

I like my MBRP offroad cat back exhaust. A few $ more but also a 60 min install at home.

On a 2door need to relocate the evap canister on a 4 door do not have to but it's easy to do when everything is apart.
