Need advise
Wanted to know what the experts opionions are on lift?
2008 4DR X bought want to beef it up a little but mostly for looks will be driven on the road 95% of the time and maybe some light trails. Was thinking of doing a 2.5" BB and 1" BL with 33" tires. What do you think?

I you go 33" tires, you won't need the BL. If you run 33" tires, a budget boost or OME would be my suggestion. You can also get away with stock gearing easier with 33" tires vs. 35" tires.
I would also consider her age. If she is a younger teenager, I would say less lift is best if you are looking for looks. I would want to keep the center of gravity as low as possible while still making it look good. a 2" kit and 33" tires will do that perfectly.

Thanks for quick response and info. If I did decide to go with 35's would I have to do any other mod's such as gears? I'v read through a few post and seems like that is what everyone is saying. If so what is recommended and what is the cost in doing that?

you don't NEED to, but you should. It also depends on your stock gearing and if you have stick or auto. Keep in mind the gas mileage will hurt much more with stock gears and a 35" tire.
If you have auto, I would say you need to do it with anything less than a 4:10.
cost...about $600-$800 per diff for gears and install.
3:21 gears w/stick or auto...yes you will need to change
3:73 gears w/stick, you could get by but wont like it...with auto, I would change.
4:10 gears with stick, you will get by...with auto, it can work but you wont like it.
