Default Need Ball Joints Replaced

Any suggestions on which ball joints to go with? I have an '08 JK running 35's with a 4" lift... Wondering which ball joints would be best an would last the longest?

The Alloy USA and Synergy Joints are both very similar in design and the metals that they use. They Synergy's have been around for a while longer and have a good track record. That being said, I bought the Alloy's because I found a smoking deal a while back. We will see how well they hold up.

If you have the coin and want made in the USA, you can also consider the Dynatrac Balljoints. They are bling and rebuildable. Keep in mind, you will pay a premium price. Nearly three times what the Alloys and Synergy Joints cost (and I haven't heard of any failures of these).

There is also the OEM replacement. I have a set removed from my 2012 with 2000 miles that you can have for $50

I'm going to go with Synergy when the time comes for mine to be replaced. Seems like a great quality product with a middle-of-the-road price.

Can't seem to find much but positive feedback on them.

I have the Synergy with 37's. tightened up the steering considerably. Had them about 5k miles so far and no problems.

I have the synergy balljoints in my JKU. I have over 40K miles on them while running 37's and they are still tight. Would of loved to go with the dynatrac but couldn't justify the cost. I think I paid just under 250.00 for all 4 of mine. Got them through northridge 4x4.

Thank you for all the feedback.. I was considering the dynatrac as well...but can't justify spending the money either... Looks like synergy will be the way to go.

Not trying to change the subject but as far as doing the install. Is that DIYable or something I should leave to the pros?

I installed mine with some friends. It is a chore to do. You need to almost completely disassemble your front end and then wrestle with the ball joints to remove them. Then you need to get them back in straight which was a pain and reassemble the front end. It took me and a few buddies like 6 or 7 hours (with a lunch break and some chatting) to do this. There is a great youtube about this with some tips on removing them. Watch these first:

I did synergy as well. Nice product and they are working great (maybe 1000 miles so far).
