Thanks. That's what I am thinking.

If I do just stay at 35 what would be a good gear for it

And therein lays the biggest issue I think you and I and most other novices are going to find. In order to do this in a manner that makes the most sense you need a plan. I'm trying to figure out what that plan will be.

Fortunately I live in southern Ontario and it is very flat. So hilly areas wont be of any big concern for me. When I do regear I want to gear to give myself the best balance between on-road performace, mileage and handling trails. There are so few places near me to wheel that my primary concern is as a daily driver that gets ok mileage. My secondary concern is that I do have some off road performance for when the pavement ends.

I was playing on a gearing calculator and it said that to go from a 32" with 3.21's up to a 35" I would only need 3.51xxx (so a 3.55). That seemed way to low to me. I was hoping to get away with 4.10's and 35" All Terrains. Those of you in the know please chime in on that.

Here's some stock pics w/new bumper and lights, I honestly hate the look of it. I wish I would have done lift and tires first

the question is do i go with the bumpers, then sleeves, c gussets, gear (dont know what size yet),then go lift and shocks, then last tires. and where do i add in the skids and all those little goodies?

just need some good wholesome advice. this is my first jeep build btw.
That's a ton of stuff LOL. At first blush, you could probably do them in any order. If you're for instant gratification do tires and lift first. If you're the cautious type, do sleeves and gussets first.

Buy skids as you need them. Bumpers whenever (can be among the first for instant gratification)

Regear and LSD at the same time but you can do that towards the end.

I really grew to despise the look of my JK with 33's, very small lift and a ton of crap on it. Looked like a over-accessorized mail truck on tiny tires.

But the 3.5 lift and 35's solved all of that. All is right in the world now.
