I ordered them from 4 Wheel Parts here in Canada for $380 which is pretty good. Not sure I'll be able to use the rebate.. the fine print says it is US only but 4 Wheel Parts told me it would still work..

What surprised me was right before the guy hung up he said he'd call me in a week to tell me when the shocks might be here.. That doesn't sound good..

I was alittle confused on the part numbers as well.. I hope I ordered the right models..

I ended up cancelling my RS9000 order with 4wd.com as something was bugging me about running low pressure shocks not sure why but just was. I called Eric and ordered some RS7000's for a great price. I liked that he did not ask what the other vendors were offering, and then offer to match, he just gave a great price right off the bat. He also answered the phone on about the 3rd ring unlike some where it is ring and push a button and ring some more lol. thanks jeff

For the 9000's no. Mount them the way they are designed. Back in the day you could mount them rod up, but a design change a while back doesn't allow for it.
In regards to BOOTS, we provide them to protect the rod from nicks.... but many chose not to run them.

I believe (as mentioned earlier) some Billy's mount rod down, which you can do with a monotube style of a shock. And black boots are cheap.
For us the P/N for black boots is RS1952

now ill have to wait for those before getting them on I like the darker look on my jeep . Think the black will blend in better on mine its preference I guess ?
