x2 on all points here. Also got mine from Northridge4x4 in only 3 days Seems everyone that run the LOD's are very happy with them

 

I've had LOD on three different jeeps and they are in the garage for my current project. I'm going to weld these on this time since I don't want to fool with drilling and tapping again. Great sliders and a great company.

I wouldn't let a rock slider transfer a hard blow directly to the body, be it off road or an accident. Only frame mounted sliders were considered.
I chose the Shrockworks, which took some time to arrive, but they're worth it. Real tough.

 

Went with these and have never looked back.

Rock Hard 4x4 Boat Side Rock Sliders w/ Smooth Plate for Jeep Wrangler JK 2DR 2007 - 2015

 

I liked everything about the Rockhard boat side rock sliders on my JKU.... until I slid 24" off a rock on the right rear tire and then hit a rock just under the A pillar on the passenger side slider. Boom off went the passenger side air bag into my wife and then noticed my whole rocker panel where the slider bolts to the body was crushed in 3/4". A real bummer to say the least. I eventually repaired it by putting a Poison Spyder rock skin between the body and the Rockhard boat side rock sliders. As much as I like the total boat slider coverage I'd go a different direction if I had a "do-over" chance

 

LOD winner. In stock, reasonable price and great reputation.

 

I've been happy w/ my EVO rock sliders, they are pure beef, and frame welded. I ran ACE's previously, and they were okay, but I wanted something beefier for the rocks.

EVOs are legit too. Downside is most don't want to weld sliders on. They're pure beef though
