I don't see an issue with their site. "Heavy" is subjective and to some extent so is efficiency. Are you talking about the mobile site or the full desktop version. If you're going to give such "feedback" I'm sure they'd appreciate some details.
What's the wink for? To make your statement playful? Say it like you mean it or don't bother.

Thanks!
We had a bunch of preorders for them too, and they are very popular.
People mention the cost, but if you bought a new quality hard top and a new soft top, if would be around the same price.
With these, you don't have to take the whole top off, just remove the different parts you want to and get the fresh air setup you like.
...
Plus some input as to the fit, quality, and window removal...
Thanks!
I installed mine 2 weeks ago. Before I purchased I called Gobi and Bestop to see if it was compatible w my ranger Rack and was told yes. However, the rear glass will hit the optional rear ladders. I solved this problem easily by limiting the rear glass opening w parachute line. So glass opens nicely but the line stops glass before it hits the rack ladders.
I installed mine a couple of weeks ago as well. I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with the top so far. I'll post some pics tomorrow. I promised a full review for the shop I bought it from so I might as well share here. A little background on why I bought this top is probably in order so let's start there...
I work out of my Jeep. This means I am constantly in and out of the back. I had the OEM soft top and very much enjoyed the - let's use BesTop's term - sunrider feature. I did not enjoy constantly having to zip/unzip the back to get stuff in and out. This was especially annoying in the winter and I cracked more than one back window as a result of folding it wrong on very cold days.
Sick of the soft top issues, I bought an OEM hard top. I never drop the top all the way anyway and the freedom panels will give me the open air I want in the summer! Through the winter, it was great. The glass lift gate made accessing the back SO much easier. I loved it. At first that is... The downside came when summer did. Taking the freedom panels off was a royal pain. Not so much removing them as storing them. With a bunch of crap in the back and 2 kids to pickup on the way home, there was just no place to put them. Leaving them off and in the garage wasn't an option because, as you'll know if you live here, it rains almost every afternoon in CO and quite frankly, I'm too old and tired to deal with a wet ass almost every day. So, I found myself hardly ever taking it off and discovered I had become one of "those" people who I yell at all summer when I see them cruising around with the top on, windows up, cranking the A/C and yell, "Why do you own a Jeep?! Take it off!"
Another winter of easy access came and went and the first nice day, I stated thinking about what to do for a top for summer. No way I was playing that game again. That's about the time I saw the TrekTop Pro. It's a hybrid soft/hard top that seemed to have everything I was looking for. Sunrider feature up front so I can easily pop the top and not have anything to store but the ease of access offered by a lift gate in the rear. I immediately called Trail Jeeps and had Wes order one for me. I picked it up about a month later (yeah, they're hard to get right now) and installed it about 2 weeks ago.
Still reading? Cool, 'cause here's the review part of the program:
Installation wasn't a breeze but I wouldn't say it was difficult either. The instructions say it's a 4 hour install and you'll need help. I did it in just over two but yes, I needed help. The instructions are TERRIBLE. BesTop has a video install guide on their site which I watched the night before. It's the best 25 minutes you can possibly spend on prep if you're going to install one of these. If I had tried to go off the instructions alone, it probably would have been 4-5 hours and a heck of a lot of swearing.
Anyway, about 2 hours later, it was all installed and looks great. The premium fabric is attractive and has a great feel to it. The frame is solid and the sunrider feature is exactly what I was looking for. I did loose a marginal amount of cargo space with the way the back is angled forward but not enough to notice unless I'm trying to haul a 65" TV. The liftgate in the back maintains the easy access and the little windows on the sides I can open for additional ventilation is great. Depending on the way you fold the front fabric back, there are basically two options on how far you open it up. Only over the front two seats or including about half of the back as well. Depending on who's back there, this is really nice as well.
Now, the no so great: There is a bow right over the center of the sunrider opening. Yes, it can be removed but it's a pain in the ass to put back in and again, I have to put it somewhere. It should be attached to the frame that flips back so the front is wide open as is shown in some of the pics. I emailed BesTop and apparently that was a trial design that didn't make the cut. Rather big disappointment there.
Second is the way the fabric is folded back for the sunrider. As I mentioned before, there are basically two ways to do it depending on how much you want open. As cool as this is, it's also a curse. If you fold it back to expose only the front (basically soundbar forward) and hit the interstate, it doesn't stay. It will get pulled the rest of the way back in just the center and basically just ball up in the middle. Not a huge deal but it is a bit annoying. I have read that some super strength velcro on the soundbar will fix it but for $1600, I shouldn't have to.
Next is the channel system the top fabric sits in when the top is closed. I'm a bit concerned of how tight it will seal up in the winter but there is a more immediate issue: rain. The water collects in those channels and POURS into the Jeep (and on you if you happen to be inside) when you open the door. I've read if you're going down the road, it clears itself out and is only a few drops. If it's parked, that whole channel will drain right onto the front outer corner of your seat. Trust me, that can be a LOT of water. BesTop claims there was nothing they could do but I call BS. Slightly extending that channel would make all the difference. At some point I'll get bored and experiment with options to do so.
Last is the cable tension system. I'm concerned about how the top will fit when that starts to wear out. Only time will tell on that front. The more annoying issue is the guide screws that are not hidden. You have this great, clean top that has a screw sticking out on each side by the rear doors that definitely detracts from the look. There had to be a better way...
In closing, though it may sound like I have more on the list of cons than pros, it really is a great top. The two main functionality aspects: the sunrider and the liftgate, make up for the shortcomings. At least for now...
Like I said, I'll try to post some pics tomorrow. Hopefully my rambling will help someone if they are on the fence or just looking for more real world info on this top.

Looking forward to the pictures. How hard would it be to remove the top, if you wanted to go full open after it is installed?
I am looking for a new top, due to mine being old, and having a leak in the front over the handles. Ive tried some fixes, but instead of getting a hard top for winter and a new soft top to fix the leak, I am really considering this top, but want to see how hard it would be, if i did want to go full topless with the Trektop Pro
