is this a better kit than the one i previously posted? i plan on getting this kit with the shocks. Will this one keep the same ride quality? or would it be better or worse? Would i be ok with running the factory shocks with adaptors? or buying the teraflex shocks

If you plan on running heavier bumpers, this kit will work for you. If you don't have gas-charged shocks( HD Susp Pkg/Tow pkg.) You should get the TF shocks.

This is the kit I installed (replacing a BB). And let me echo what mkjeep wrote: If you have heavy bumpers, or plan on them, then this kit will help greatly over a BB because you won't be running around with your springs half compressed from the get go. I'd recommend that you replace the shocks to take advantage of the additional suspension travel (unless you're just doing this for looks and won't be wheeling).

Default Pro Comp 2.5 Stage 1 with ES9000

I just put the Pro Comp 2.5 with the ES9000 shocks on my 2009 JK 4 door.
I got a full 3+ inches (i am told this is normal to allow for any settling)
This supension allows up to 35's fopr tires.
The ES9000 Shocks are much better than the factory pencil shocks
There is a noticable difference in the sixe of the springs.
All that said the best part is...It also actually rides better, actually has that factory ride but it seems to take bumps and speed breakers a little better.

I went with the Teraflex 2.5 coil lift and with the stock wheels and tires the ride was exactly the same only higher. Going to 35's with "d" load rated tires it is not stiffer for sure.

I have a 2dr with the RR XHD and a warn 9.5 ti. I put the RE BB and springs out of a 4 dr Rubi with the towing package, and the weight of that bumper and winch make my front end sag about 1.5". Definitely look into the OME HD springs. I am gonna go another direction once it warms up, gotta get rid of the sag.
