You only need the Uppers to adjust pinion angle. Lowers are usually used to set your wheelbase back to normal after a lift.

I used the Teraflex front lowers I got from you and was able to get 4.5 or 5 degrees ( I can't remember exactly ). Still running the stock uppers for now. Not disagreeing with you at all, just giving another option. Some lowers may not offer enough adjustment for this but I can verify that the Teraflex ones do.

I agree it can be done but what you are doing is decreasing your wheel base by shortening the lowers.

I think he is increasing his wheelbase by lengthening the lowers to increase caster.?...

Actually for me (4-door), I'd rather have a shorter wheelbase, so getting the uppers would be the better way to go.
I am sorry I need to get off the phone , quit eating lunch and typing on the internet at the same time and think! LOL

So let me rephrase this rear uppers for driveline angles or you will shorten your wheelbase. And be careful on using the front lowers so you dont push your front axle to far forward.

Lastly, to help with steering, I'll be adding a Fox stabilizer in July.
a stabilizer wont really help the steering. Castor is the best way to fix that problem. I have the full traction ultimate with hd springs and it gave me 4 inches of lift. I have my castor dialed in and run the stock steering stabilizer and have even ran with none at all after i jacked up my other one.

I agree.

Also it does not matter who's upper control arms you use as long as they are high quality and adjustable.

I'm gonna go with Currie front adj uppers and JKS front adj trackbar. Seems to be good quality and bang for your buck.
I will also agree with that.

I'm running the OME lift with FT adj track bars and just added the FT adjustable upper front arms. Reset castor to about 4.5 degrees with no additional vibration and regained on-road handling. The larger tires (33") could probably use a little more castor but I got tired of wrestling bolts under the Jeep Only downside I found was the holes in the frame brackets aren't large enough to get a standard grease gun fitting on the zerks once the arms are in place. Now I either need to find a "low profile" gun fitting or enlarge the holes.... Always something.
