ahhh now I want to go with the 3.25 inch lift since I don't ever disconnect really. Tough choice to make

What did you say the 2.5" vs 3.25" cost was, $100? You said they are using the same springs, so i would just get the 2.5" for now. If you end up wanting more lift, you can add 3/4" Daystar spacers (same thing they are doing) for $40

A 2.5” suspension lift (using spacers in conjunction with the factory springs) would cost you $500.00 parts and labor included.

If you would like us to replace the springs with a taller after market spring the total price would only be $100 more. That’s a pretty good deal for re-springing the whole Jeep. I will need 3 days shipping for the lift kit so I will need a head start for that.

600 for 2.5

The 3.25 suspension lift comes with Front: 2.5" lifted coil springs and 0.75" coil spacers, brake line brackets & hardware. The brakes lines need to be moved to accommodate the lift.

Rear: 2.5" lifted coil springs, 0.75" coil spacers, track bar bracket, sway-bar links, brake line brackets & hardware. Shocks: (4) High Performance 2.2 series shocks
The cost of this lift is $900 parts and labor.

900 for 3.25

Hoping that 1400 was for 5 Trail grapplers mounted and balanced and not 4

Also pretty sure it's a Rough Country lift, atleast the shocks are

Your money man, but if it were me, I'd wait til you get back and take that $900 and put it into a teraflex or rock krawler full suspension kit, no spacers. Teraflex is like $750 I think and much better shocks. Just don't wanna see you jump into something and regret it.

Just my 2 cents

Lots of people on here use that lift and are happy with it. I've read lots of post where others felt the ride was too harsh. Better shocks may help with the ride but if the springs are too stiff, you're sort of up the river on the lift. I'd suggest you scour the forums for some used stuff. I bought a set of springs, 5100 shocks, bumpstops, and new front brake lines for $400. I picked up 6 control arms from different people and finished it off with a few new parts. When all was said and done, I paid less than $1,000 for the RK 3.5" max travel kit which retail around $1,800. I'm pretty proud of how well my jeep performs vs dollars spent. I believe one of our vendors had a special on lifts and was giving away shocks with the RK lifts. I'd keep looking.

I then plan to get the Nitto Trail Grapplers 35x12.50Rx17 on rims yet to be decided that are 17x9s with 4.5inches of backspace. I drive this vehicle to work (10miles a day) the beach, back through trails to fish, and maybe go over an hour one a month and only do 65 tops. I really just like the looks of 35's. I plan to regear down the line, but am I going to hate life driving 35mph to work everyday?

Also have been considering just doing 4 tires and rims so I don't have to do anything to my spare carrier to hold the 35, anyone advise against this?

2010 Rubicon Unlimited
I have a 2010 Rubi auto 35's 2.5" RK max Travel and honestly even AFTER I regeared to 5:13's I STILL leave over drive off most of the time as the auto has such ridiculous ratios it is geared to reach 175Mph if it had the power to shove the Jeep forward at that speed lol. It's a DD and wheel beaches and rock trails. Whatever you do make sure to top it off with a programmer as the auto's shift points will come back into play after speedo and gear calibrations are loaded.

I have 4.11 gears in my 09 with 37's. I drive without OD also, but on the highway I can go 80 in OD and I'm at only 1900 rpm's ! It has to be flat and no wind! Otherwise it's around 3,000rpms at 80
