I had a friend who used to build amazing traps. the best I saw was a door with a holster that was attached that popped down below the dash after a chain of things were pressed. Like left turn signal, radio on preset 6, and press the brake pedal and it popped. Mind blowing to a dummy like me.

Has anyone thought about bolting one of these under the driver's seat?

I was thinking about it, but still not sure if it would fit.

I have been looking for something like this as well. Here is what I found on Tuffy's website.

When CCWing I usually just avoid places that I know I can't carry into. My local gun shop had some cards printed up that basically say on them that by barring concealed carriers you're turning away law abiding citizens and thier business.

If, for some reason, I need to stash my piece when I go into a building I eject the magazine and hid the gun itself in the JK.

I know Tuffy used to make a storage box for the YJ that went under the hood but I'd be concerned that when I went to put my piece into the box I'd get cited for brandishing a weapon.

I think the answer is to move to a state with Open Carry laws.

I just tuck mine in my pants pocket or waiste band.

But I have my CHL.

I carry it everywhere unless they have a 30.06 sign, and it has to be a regulation 30.06 to count.

Of course I don't carry in to 51s and other places that don't have to have it posted.

If it is a place that I know would by "jumpy" if I carried it in, I just don't go.

I'll often slide it under the driver seat. usually I'm in and out in less than 10-15 minutes.

Because that would be illegal and good way to loose your Jeep?

Why is a trap illegal if you have a CCW permit? Or is that some sorta draconian IL only law like the FOID card?
