I removed the sway bar arms from the front, removed the shock from one side, lifted the frame (floorjack) while axle is left on block. To do this I removed the tire, lowered the rotor onto a block of wood and positioned the floor jack to the frame. Raised the frame and removed the spring. Tight to squeeze the new spring in but removing the front brake hose from frame helped. Once spring was in, I lowered the frame back down and placed the new shock in. Re position jack , jack the differential up and install new tire. Move to opposite side.
I did not remove anything other than the sway bar links which get replaced by new ones in the kit, if I remember, you use the front in the rear.
Axle does sit 1" off center but it has caused no real issues and I will fix that this fall.
I have over 35k miles on the kit and all has been fine.

absolutly nothing beats the feeling you get from doing it yourself ! good job , on your winch install make SURE the cables are secure and dont rub ANYWHERE , put split hose around the positive if you have to. you would be amazed how fast cables can rub through , i have seen equipment BTFU from rubbed through battery cables causing shorts . again congrats on you job well done

Glad to hear you have it in. Seems there must be some differences in the years of vehicle and configurations. One thought I had was that mine was new and only 700 miles on it and yours is a year older with miles on it. Might have been suspension components settling or becoming stiff due to use. Might have made things more tight.
Still, you worked through and completed. Congrats.
Enjoy and stay safe.

I would love to know how to make the d30 hold 37s without worrying about it
