Newbee to the mod stuff... sorry

So I may have jumped the gun a bit, but I found a good deal and bought 17x9 ballistic jesters for my 2007 2 dr automatic Sahara. I planned on mounting 315/70/17 on them after I install a 2.5 inch AEV lift. Rims have already been purchased, but nothing else yet.

Questions:
1. Will I have problems with these rims?
83.7 bore, +12 offset, 5.5 inches backspace.
Hub centric rings and spacers needed? What else?

2. I currently have 4.1 gears on my daily driver with no hills around here. Do I need to regear? Should I just stick with 33s?

3. 2.5 inch AEV lift with geometry correction brackets. Should I have a body lift too?

just to give you a little perspective I have the 2.5 inch rock krawler lift love it but not the point. those are 35s and I run 3.73 gears and it's an 08. everything you want I have except 17 inch rims but you will be fine with everything you said

1. Your backspacing is almost stock spacing, which isn't want you want if you want to run wider/tall tires. You want 4.5" or less backspacing on aftermarket rims. Maybe see if you can swap the rims for the right backspacing or buy spacers.
2. You don't need to regear. You might want 35s, cause after you get 33s you'll want 35s the next day.
3. You don't need a body lift. If you get 2.5-3" of lift from that kit, that's enough to clear 33s or 35s. With flat fenders you could run 37s.

Doesn't the geometry correction brackets bring the height if the lift down a bit?

I wish I could exchange the rims, but I would cost me an arm and a leg for shipping alone.

The brackets are just correcting the angle of the control arms/link bars. They aren't affecting the lift height at all. They are bringing your bars back to being parallel to the ground, therefore giving back your stock driving conditions/geometry. Some people find a big difference, others don't. I've got a 5" lift and the brackets are still sitting on my garage floor after a year lol Since they hang down lower, I haven't bother to install them because we have lots of rocks up here that catch everything on the chassis while offroading.

I have a 3" susp lift and installed the AEV brackets about 3 weeks later after dealer installed the lift.
Definitely made a difference. Took away the twitchness in steering that I had after the lift and also they stopped the nose from diving durring breaking.
Great investment. They do hang lower though so beware of that.

I have the same AEV package and love it. Your always best off with a good hub centric fit... If you can find then adapters for the rims it's well worth the money. You certainly don't need a body lift.

I agree with what was said about your backspacing not being what you need to run 35's. +12mm offset is just shy of a half inch. Add that to the 5.5 backspace and that is a 6 inch backspace all day long. In my opinion you'll need 1.5 inch spacers in order to get the tires out enough to keep from rubbing. Which will have them sit like a 4.5 backspace wheel. There are some really good spacers out there. But the cost of spacers may equal the cost of sending back those wheels and getting a set that equal out to 4.5 backspace. If it was me, send the wheels back and get a much better backspace of no more then 4.5 inches.

Now you can keep them and run a thinner 33. But then you're going to want 35's. Then after some time you're going to want 37's with new finders. Why? Because that's how the drug works. The drug that causes you to constantly make your rig bigger and more bad ass then the last thing you did to it.
