Bought mine from Amazon for $150 - included a one button remote. Literally took 7 minutes to take the dash panel off, plug this in, program it, and it worked. I still have to tie everything up and mount the antenna. I am also going to wire up the parking lights and the hood safety switch. But I was impressed with how easy this was!

Works from my second floor office window to the lot without issue. Haven't tried anything farther yet. They claim 1500 feet.

Couple of questions on this. Ordered this one off amazon:

http://www.amazon.com/Fortin-EVO-CHR...957046-3229603

Is splicing the yellow wire necessary? If so, which yellow wires do i need to splice? A photo would be great I am horrible with wiring and have no idea what harness is what....

Is grounding the purple wire necessary or is it trial and error to see if its needed.

I have this on my 2015 JKU and no you don't have to use the purple wire. If you have the T Harness then all you have to do is solder the yellow wire from the T Harness to the yellow wire to the main harness and plug it in. It was so simple and a great mod this time of year.

I didn't, I don't feel like messing with a relay and having to run power wire and ground wire.

I did. Piece of cake. It was all built into the remote start. Ran two wires from the unit inside the engine compartment to just under the fuse/relay box. Tapped into two different wires. Done and done.
