Plug and Play Remote Starter $100 on ebay
Jill. There is a yellow wire should be right next to a purple in the t5 harness, this is the one you will be plugging in to jeep harness. Then there will be one in the 20 pin connector, the one with 20 wires that will be plugged into the evo all ( black box). Splice them together.

Correct. The t5 harness and the evo I believe, are used with aftermarket alarms. It just so happens it can be used as a remote start on Chrysler / Jeep vehicles. If you what the video the installer states that the added an extended range remote setup. But you would end up with 2 remotes.

I'll post where I end up finding one of the units as well. Being up in Canada has its own issues. All the authorized distrubutors on their site only do wholesale work and the vendors they suggest don't sell to the public. Found a couple nice folks at one location who are calling around to see if a vendor will sell one and program it as well. Guys at ARA Auto in Calgary (where I live) agreed to finally sell it after some coursing but then refused to program. Said it is not worth the 5 minutes time it would take to get one of his installers to do it. His exact words.
Also saays that he believes I would still need a starrter to get the remote start to work but I believe from what you've mentioned that the jeep cpu has this already in there since I have the factory alarm and this evo all just engages it... Both of these points correct?
that seems to be the consensus, other then splicing the two yellow wires and grounding the purple white. It plugs into the harness under the steering column. The evo all box must be sending the start signal. You. would have to address the clutch bypass as well.
Edit; purple white ground for that brief second while programing.
Look through this, make sure it's the evo-chrt5 setup.

That's good to hear.
I already have a monetary push button on my steering coloumn just beside the ignition that I use so I can start up the Jeep without pushing the clutch in. I might be able to use that in some capacity.

Make sure your getting the same setup as everyone else, not sure if you saw my edit above.
I used 4lo and Neutral to test the system..my plan is to use a relay. pin 86 is your key on hot, pin 87 is your ground output that goes to clutch, I want to switch this as well. 30 and 85 go to the e-brake, or 1 to ground and 1 to brake.

In the t5 harness the long one, there is a yellow right next to a purple. I think they were the longest in the harness. then there is a yellow in the 20 pin.
I almost spliced the wire on my Jeep harness and then realized everyone said it wasn't on the Jeep harness.
I need a few

I think I am delirious from shoveling out of 2 feet of snow.
