I'm gonna say TMD also - probably just new and interesting. With a snorkel tho...

AEV. Metal bends / dents under too much stress, plastic cracks / shatters under too much stress.

polycarbonate is stronger than steel, lighter than steel and I am not sure just how much stress the hood sees to begin with.

Notice how all the TMD pics you ever see are from the side? That's because it doesn't look very cool from the front.

I voted for the TMD, but after looking at the picture more I don't actually like it for a jeep. The hood is to short for that big of a scoop I think. I think I'd change my vote to AEV if I could. Both are pretty bad ass though.

If I were to put in a Hemi, I might consider the more aggressive-looking TMD. But putting that bad boy on a 3.8 is about like putting lipstick on a pig.

I see them both as a little functionally remiss.

For me the water sucking access point of the AEV hood for my in-climate local weather is a non-mover as I just don't want to introduce that much water, snow and ice into my engine compartment. The air inlet on one side is pretty cool as I could seal my CAI to get outside air into my intake while the other side for heat relief isn't all that functional because of the distance to exhaust parts.

The TMD hood seems a little more functional for heat relief. It doesn't make any provisions for getting air into the stock location of the air box. The raised cowl certainly looks cool and I'm sure would take on some air but I don't see how that air provides any added benefit other than displacing some heat out the side vents at speed or allowing heat to escape at slower speeds.

An asymmetric design would be much more functional but I'm sure not as cool looking as either. I'm still more intrigued by the side vents I saw someone else do in another thread. Just takes a little more sack and a little more time.
