im having fun just listening to all you guys argue and bicker over something so dumb...you can easily say "no there are no lowering kits because nobody wants to lower their Jeeps here and there is no market for them", yet your too ignorant and like to mock people for doing something different

as for driving in NYC, the only off roading most people do here is driving through the cross bronx expressway potholes before the GW bridge and trying to maneuver between a yellow taxi cab driver who doesnt understand English, an NYPD officer driving and eating a krispy creme jelly donut at the same time with his siren on spilling his cup of coffee, and some bitch doing her make-up in the rearview mirror in an Escalade full of kids on the way to soccer practice.

for the rest of you guys, have fun with your jeeps whichever way makes you happy, whether that means making it as tall as a skyscraper or just keeping it the way it came from the factory, just don't bad mouth others for doing something unique to theirs...

 

Well, as for some of the negative people here, just calm down, he isn't talking about lowering your Jeep. We all own our own Jeeps. Personally I wouldn't lower a Jeep, but if that is your thing, so be it.

Snake, I have not seen too much for lowering Jeeps, but then again that isn't my thing. My main suggestion, do it safely! I am sure that there are some places you can get custom springs for it and shocks shouldn't be too tough. You may(key word here) have to air bag it to get the effect you are looking for. As for horsepower, I am pretty sure that there is a company that is looking at making a supercharger for the v6 in the new Jeeps. I would not be surprised if you could make the turbos off of another Chrysler product fit in there too. Honestly I would go that route for power, since it is the best for miles per gallon. And even though you will probably catch flak, let us know what you find and how it goes. You obviously do good work, since the pics you posted all look really good.

I joined this forum to hear valuable insight and thoughts on the JK, not hear people pop their mouths off talking about shooting people.
