Default Pro Rock 44

Would like to know if anyone has experience with this set up and positives and negatives. 2000 isnt bad compared to 5000 for the Rockjock. Appreciate input.

The pro rock is a awesome axle. We sell and install a ton of these. Do you have a rubicon.

it really is an outstanding axle and what jeep should have been putting under their JK's right from the factory instead of the dana 30 with 44 pumpkins. if you have a rubicon, you can reuse most of the internal parts.

If you dont have a rubicon you will need the pro rock 44 housing, ARB, Gears and axle shafts .

Rough price is around $4500

That is nothing compared to the constant "nickel and diming you" that the stock D44 will do to you over a short period of light wheeling. It sucks writing the check for any Dynatrac piece of gear until you see that thing in person under a Jeep, then it makes sense

One major compliant I have with mine ....

I bought the Ultimate version with 1/2" tubes and caster set for 4" lifts ..... "These were specifically configured for those running 4" and greater lifts" <from dynatrac> ..... why then is the track bar bracket in the stock location? Massive bump steer with my installation, have to cut off the stock one and buy another vendors raised track bar bracket, weld on etc. to eliminate the bump steer ..... imo dynatrac should install an adjustable bracket in the beginning.

Otherwise very beefy housing and should take all but the most extreme abuse.

Thanks David@Northridge!
