Man now I'm just even more confused lol
I doubt I will be out at the hammers but I anticipate doing rubicon and Moab as a few trips.

I feel like maybe I would just regret the d44 knowing I could have went with a 60 with locking hubs.

Hey,

I think the PR44 will do just fine for your needs. We wheel the same terrain here in Ontario and I've been to Moab and I am going back again this year and my built Rubi 44s are doing the job(I do know their limit and pull line when needed). The RJ60 would be sweet cause you'll have the hubs but I think it's overkill for what you need.

The guys I wheel with from Ottawa are on 37s and PR44s and have no complaints. It's a beefy axle for sure. I would run the PR44 and if you ever want to run 40s then you'll have no problem selling it like mentioned earlier. If you get the RJ60 now and want to upgrade to 40s later you'll need to re gear which will cost you. Rob wheels with his PR44 and he isn't too smooth with his wheeling and hasn't had issues. Biggy is still on Rubi 44s with heavy Toyo's and they seem to be holding up.

But if you want the RJ60 then go for it!!!

PS: Are these prices from Jim? You can send me a PM if you want

And you can build axles off a 2005-2010 F350 for $5K. I'd rather out a weeks worth of labor into stronger axles and save a mega crap ton of money.

Hey thanks joe I agree with everything your aaying but my gut tells me Jim can probably get the currie stuff cheaper than the dynatrac stuff lol, which is a huge factor for me. To be honest I haven't asked him yet about quotes but if he can't match north ridges unlimited price I'm gonna probably have to buy it from them. I would rather give him the money but from what I heard rob spent it seemed like a big difference

If Jim gets Currie stuff for cheap, then take a look at the RJ44. Just another option.

Cheers

Having just upgraded from a PR44 (37's) to a '78 Ford D60 (40's) I'd say go for the 60 if there's any chance you'll end up going with 40's or a V8. Yes, you can sell the PR44 like I did but you really lose $ in the long run and the RJ60 would give you an upgrade path. Just my
