I was right. the guy at the shop said I have 4.11 gears. I think he means 4.10? The dealer said my jeep came with 3.21 stock. Glad to know whoever had it before me upgraded! Now I should be able to run 35's

I swear man, with 3.21 in front and 4.10 in the back, it felt like my back tires were about to climb over the front tires. lol.

Glad I got it fixed.

Again, maybe I'm making something out of nothing, but if the factory says you want both axles spinning at the same speed to avoid damage, regardless of being in 4wd or not - then maybe having them spinning at different speeds can also cause damage, right? Or not?
They may just be trying to eliminate or reduce variables and what ifs that come into play when towing and liability for it on their part.
