I have a 2012 JKU. The sticker said I had 3.21 gears. I run 35" tires with 4" lift. I was having a hard time keeping it in overdrive. I decided to put 4.56 gears in. After the gear swap I noticed I actually had 3.73 gears installed originally. I'm guessing a mess-up on the window sticker at the stealership. Anyway I totally love my 4.56 gears. I can even turn off my traction control and make my 35" tires howl at a red light. I wouldn't suggest any higher gear ratio for anyone who does 70 or better mph. At 70 mph I am turning about 2500 rpm. The end result is now my jeep has pep and feels more powerful and responsive.
In the city I am getting 16mpg and highway 14-15 mph.

Damn, now I'm second guessing 35's. right now my '12 manual with 3.21 gears gets 18.5 city and 21.5 highway. Not sure it's worth losing 4 or 5 mpg.
