Rake haters
[QUOTE=JEEP THRILLS;1438406]
i think he saying that because of the 1" spacer
At the end of the day why does anyone do anything to their Jeep? Why install 35's? Why lift it? why add bumpers? Winches? etc?... because its what the owner wants to do. It looks bad ass! and... it's a Jeep thing...Do I need to say you wouldn't understand? Or do you?
My 2 cents.

I remember putting big snow tires on the back of my 1974 Super Beetle. They rubbed badly but I had that awesome raked drag car race look. Maybe that's what the Jeep engineers were going for!

Back to the original question: Many attack the rake because when they add a heavy front bumper and winch, their Jeep really sags up front. Since that is a much more common combo than those who are replacing both bumpers and adding additional weight to the rear, you see kits that help remove at least some of the additional rake.

Some people probably just like the look of a level vehicle. My Jeep has a heavy front bumper and winch, and with the 2.5" BB it could use a leveling device. The rear is 2" higher than the front, and that's with a Rancho and a heavy 35" spare.
If you bought a Jeep you know about the rattles and the poor MPG. The more the merrier...
