Default Ranch Hand Bumpers

Anyone running Ranch Hand bumpers on their JK? I had their Bullnose model on my Ram truck and it was awesome. Very well built and not too expensive. Built in Texas was just a plus. Their website has a winch mount and 2" receiver model. I always used the receiver hitch so i could mount a portable winch either front or rear depending on how bad i screwed up.

If anyone has one, please tell how well it fits and how easy was it to install??

Sorry, I don't have one but they certainly look solid enough! I also really like the fact that they have the fog light cutouts and REALLY like the built in receiver hitch!!! Price certainly looks right too. If you do get one, please do a write up on the install.

Ranch Hand has been around a while. Practically every truck in Texas has one form or another of their products installed on it. They are stout bumpers and have a good reputation.

The ONLY thing I don't like about their JK bumper is the diamond plate "filler" they use between the bumper ends and the fender edges. Looks way too after-thought to me.

Cut off that diamond plate and it might look better.

Not my style, but looks like a good bumper.
I agree about the diamond plate. I think it would look better if they continued the plate over the top of the entire bumper.

Just picked up my Ranch Hand this afternoon. I am going to try and get it installed this weekend with a Warn M8000. I will let you know on the ease of install.

FYI: I gave $639 in Tulsa at an off-road shop. The Ranch Hand store in OKC priced it at $699. This is of course with the winch option.

I just installed mine today. The install wasn't too bad. Make sure you install the front shackle mounts prior to putting the bumper on the vehicle. The instructions also say to install the fog lights prior to mounting on the vehicle but it made it a little difficult to reach the backside of the inner bolts while you are tightening them up.

I am still waiting on my winch plate to arrive so I can mount the Warn M8000. My only dilema is where to mount the control box. Any good ideas?

One draw back I also can note is there is no place to mount any auxilary lights, unless they make some sort of bracket that wraps around the upper push bar. This wasn't a great concern to me, there are plenty of other light mounts out there.

I am very pleased with the bumper, I know not everyone will like the diamond plate look, but if you have ever had a Ranch Hand Bumper then you know these things are very tough.
