I got very lucky and went through my dealership here and after getting the "family" discount I walked out with new Yukon gears put in for about $1100 and no change in my lifetime power train warranty...

Hopefully this will get her better mileage than the 4:10 gearing. Anybody know?????

You would miss that extra bit of gear on highway driving in mountains or windy days. If you have an auto you will notice it even more. You fuel milage is not going to really improve. Best way to improve your mpg is with driving habits.

I currently have 3.21 gears with the six speed and 33s 75-80ish mph is about 1800 rpm and is good enough to hold speed on flat ground with no head wind. If I'm going up any incline I down shift. I can drive down the highway at 60-65 in 4th gear doing about 2500ish rmp.
