Rear axle off center

If you lengthen your rear trackbar, it will shift the axle towards the driver side.

I think I misread the initial post. I thought you were saying that it was centered, then you heard the noise, and it was not centered afterward. If it was never centered after the lift, just do some measuring to see if centering the axle (adj trackbar) will give enough room to clear the evap. If not, look into relocating it.
