Actually, I have Rockcrusher covers (same thing) on my TJ but not on my JK. However, I do believe they should fit and clear a Full Traction track bar. If they make contact, there is a good chance that you have your axles shifted too far out.

I assume it's just one of the "fins" that's making contact, right? If the interference is only minor, just grind off the offending area. If you don't have a hand grinder, now's a good excuse to get one. Get a 4-1/2" one. If you have a Jeep, this won't be the last time you'll need it!!

Not trying to hijack but I have the SOLID cover up front and my FT track bar rubs on it while off roading as well as rear. WOL, I checked the shift on the track bar and the axles are dead center. Does it need to NOT be centered and if so left or right.

Did SOLID change its design?

Just to add my 2 cents... :-) My FT front trackbar was rubbing on my Riddler front diff. I had to shorten the front-top arms and grind the diff cover a tad. In the back, the trackbar bolt knocked on the bump stop. I flipped the bolt but I'm also hearing a 'popping' noise back there once in a while. I wonder if the rear passenger coil might catch the trackbar once in a while.

If you have adjustable control arms, you can set them up to avoid rubbing. My front upper control arms are 1/8" shorter than stock, and the lowers are 1/8" longer. I had mild rubbing until I ground the Riddler diff cover. I think the SOLIDs don't protrude as much.

BTW, I got less rubbing on the diff cover with the HD front coils.

Bump on any more info on this.

I am planning to get a set of adjustable track bars from full traction and a set of diff covers for my teraflex bb waiting to be installed so my axles are lined up and good to go just in case they are not. I don't have adjustable control arms like jsmoris does to prevent any rubbing.

Could this be a few isolated incidences, anybody else with full traction track bars want to chime in?

Thanks

In the part number "catalog" that Solid provides all of its retailers, it reads BOLDLY that their Dana 44 covers will NOT fit on JK applications due to interferance with the trac bars. Talk to the company that sold them to you.
