Rear Solid Diff Cover warning
I'm sure that most aftermarket covers will interfere with the travel of the trac bars. If you are using a fairly tall relocation bracket for your track bar, you will not have this problem, as the trac bar sits far enough above.
I run a tall relocation bracket for the rear trac bar. From that bracket, I have a reinforcement part that is bolted to it and it runs over to....and bolts to the top of the diff. It is solid as a rock and I can run any diff cover I want. Not a bad set up. I'm thinking of running a new adjustable rear track bar but even if I do, I will keep my relocation bracket on.
The solution is to build all aftermarket track bars with a little more clearence. Wayolife, have you mentioned this to full traction? People want adjustable track bars and they want bomber diff covers. Maybe the market will figure it out before to long. I run 37s and have my axle where it needs to be. I would have to suck the rear axle forward .25-.50'' to get rid of binding at cover. People dont need to be dicking around experimenting with different brackets, spending excess money to find a solution to a brain fart by these manufactuers. Didnt one of these suspension monkeys have a worthy diff cover on during their design phase? JP
