Rear Spring install question
Another question from my OME lift, newbie here when it comes to lift installs but hopefully this issue isn't as painfully obvious as the last.
Installed the springs 2 days ago and have been driving it since without any issues after fixing the one I mentioned in my last post. Wanted to take it in to get a professional alignment and to adjust the rear track bar... I know it isn't that hard, I did the front, but was running out of time this week.
The mechanics called me up and said they didn't want to do the work yet because they thought that is had the wrong springs because one is bowed out towards a tire and the other bows out backwards and felt they weren;t going to sit right.
I know they are the right springs, the OME 218 HD rear that came in the northridge kit, does it look like I installed them wrong, or any other issues?
Thanks again!

So prop it back up and keep rotating it further and this should get rid of the bows. Thanks for the help, thought we did rotate it in, but I may have mis-judged what was seated. Will let you know how it works out.
Any tips on quick ways to release some tension from the coil, or is it just jack it up on the frame, disco the sways and track bars and let the axle fall?

just jack the frame up on that side, you should get enough tension of to rotate the coil.... if not then unbolt the sway bar link. this might not be the issue, but it is the only thing in your pictures that jumps out at me.
first off, all rear coils bow towards the back a bit and more so the taller you get. and, if you install an aftermarket rear drive shaft, setting your pinion angle will cause them to bow A LOT. also, the rubber isolator on your upper perch is uniform and how the coil is positioned on it will not make a difference. however, depending on how base of your coil sits on the lower perch can sometimes influence it enough to bow of to the side but really, not by much and not enough to matter.

No perch indentation on bottom as in the frt there is an indentation. Little bowing in the rear, no problems , it's normal. Mine bow a good bit and I have 4in springs with a 1 3/4 spacer on top . No probs on or off-road.
