Nope, only the D30's with 3.21 gears need new carriers. You're good to go.

thanks for the advice and thread link everyone, appreciate it all. i would love to upgrade to d60s front/rear but sadly i dont have 12-16 grand to spare.

And for dude looking to run 40's...that's a pretty extreme setup and I'd put alot of weight into what WOL says, he's got the experience.
You could cram 5.38's in your diffs 'cause I see you've got d44's front and rear...I have no experience with that kind of setup, but I'd expect ALOT of stress on your shafts and that little pinion head, especially if your locked up....guess it kinda depends on the type of wheelin you do
