Default Relocating the steering stabilizer

When replacing the steering stabilizer do you need a kit for relocating it or do you move the original hardware??? I just replaced mine with a Ranchero shock back into the original position and I'm worried about smashing it.

Woods makes a nice bracket to relocate it. PM him, he should be able to help you out.

Interesting... I see you also used a trackbar drop bracket. If you'd used the top-most bolt on the axle bracket for the trackbar, the geometry with the flipped drag link would have been off a bit, giving you some bump steer, right? Did you use the trackbar drop bracket to re-locate the shock, or re-locate the shock because you were using a trackbar drop bracket? :-D

The drop bracket is from the Rubicon Express long arm lift kit.
We have mount it this way so it get up higher and protect it a little more.
It is also when you turn the tie rod move back and fort and the shock move whit it. I'm not sure about the bump steer. I'm not full knowledge about this kind of stuff. I'm just telling what I know about my set-up.

Sorry if I'm not more of a help.

Speaking of which, given the nature of Jeeps it is a good idea to boot all your shocks and protect the stems so they don't wipe out a shocks seals.

I'm trying to understand why the manufacturer thinks a 2 bar suspension is better than a four? Also seems like a good setup to wipe out a u-joint sooner.
