Default Relocation of exhaust?

Ok, we saw it done at SEMA, anyone coming with a kit to relocate the exhaust under the driver exiting out behind the driver side rear tire? If not I have my guy that will do custom work, any concerns about why not to do this? heat damage to necessary components?

Thanks in advance

I know that Dynomax is working on a kit but don't know when it'll be out. The only thing I think you would may need to be concerned with is heat shielding... maybe.

I was ready to put mine along the frame on the drivers side till i look at the lack of heat shielding and the black box in the same area.i have had some old car that had very hot floor board from the lack of heat shielding.so i just put it in place of the stock muffler.

I wonder if you could use the existing heat shield and relocate it. I looked under my 2dr and there doesn't seem to be much room for anything more than a cherry bomb type set-up. I think with the 4dr you can stagger it a little with the black box.

What is the black box? Would it hurt anything to get it a little warm?

Not too much, it's just an expansion chamber for the fuel tank. It's just basically gas fumes!
