Default replacing 3.21's

I did a quick search, and didn't find what I wanted.

What do I need to go from a 3.21 to a factory 4.10 on an '07 "X".
I have the the 4.10 D30 and D44 ring and pinion.

Do I need a carrier for the front ... or rear? Install kits? Be specific.

Please help, or guide me.

you need the front carrier, or a front locker. how many miles are on your jeep? I would at least replace the pinion bearings myself. Get a overhaul kit from northridge4x4 and replace all the bearings while you are in. might as well.

Thats the plan.

I just want to make sure I don't need anything other than the front carrier.

36k, - time to play!

Either a front carrier OR a front locker, but not both? What about the rear?

The factory 4.10's should be a thick gear for the rear axle so you are good in the rear. I would get a new overhual kit for the rear though.

For the front you will need a Overhual kit and a Carrier.
