Gasser - Thank you for the reply. Your facts may have just sold me. No doubt I love offroading and mudding and yes line-x would make it easier to clean. Plus, Wings Fan's pics did look pretty bad a$$.

You're right. I'll just do it!

Thanks everyone

I wish I had lined instead of buying Husky floor liners.

Oh, no problem at all. Been there done that. You will love it. Low maintance. You can always put the carpet back in as well. It will fit just fine over the liner. Best of both worlds! I just put my new carpet up in my attic for safe storage so IF I ever sell it, Ill have new carpet for the new owner. Doubt I will sell for some time though...

Good luck with your install.

doubtful that it's anything significant, nor that it really matters much -- it's a box on wheels, much less a jeep after all

It's great.
Yes, it might be louder than carpet, but it is quiter than no carpet no line-x.
Sand sticks, and you're better off just running the hose over it than trying to spray it out. Or, just drive real fast with no doors or top, and let it blow out (some).
If you do the labor yourself, it shouldn't cost you more than $500. Mine was $450 or so, for an unlimited. Also done in Greenville.

I hurculined mine last month and I love it. All told I spent less than $150 and 2 long days of work. The sand sucks. I haven't noticed any change in noice (though I'm running with the bestop bikini, duster, windjammer combo so all I ever here is wind)

Oh and the one thing to watch is to make sure you are careful taking out the front seats if you have the side airbags. If you pull the plug for the airbags when the battery is connected than you will need to go to the dealer to get the sensor reset.

I have not had any problems with sand. Just running water from the garden hose takes care of the sand.

I saw a product called Al's Liner on Extreme 4x4.

Anyone use this?
