If you are concerned about road noise, maybe the solution is to line-x then put the carpets in when you want a civilized ride, and take em out when you are wheeling?

I could not afford to put Line X on my tub and the carpet is still in god shape, but I wanted to protect my tailgate from getting all scratched up from stuff that I keep in my cargo area (ie. ammo boxes for straps and chains, tool bag, etc.) So, I just had a guy Line X my tailgate. It turned out great and looks like it stock.

whiskytango -- I like what you did. How much did it cost for just line-x'ing the tailgate?

You have rubber plugs in the floorboard under the drive & passenger mats. I suggest pulling them & leaving them out. Also, there is a similar plug in the "secret" storage bin in the rear. Pull that one out too.

Rhino lining is awesome! I had mine done for for close to a grand if Im remembering correctly. Maybe I overpayed, but I recommend paying someone who does it for a living, though a lot of guys do it themselves too. He sprayed extra thick in certain areas to try and block some heat. Which is the only downside Ive found, especially driving through Nevada in peak summer with a trailer, your feet get toasted!

There are 12 drain plugs in my 2dr. I took pictures of them for anyone wanting to know how to get to them

If you pull and keep them out your probably going to notice your floor getting pretty hot.
