RIPP Gen II Issues
Hey you with the 6spd. Keep your nose out of this. This is only for the totally disgruntled, raving mad, suicidal, wanting to jump of the bridge, or better yet
send the jeep off the bridge raving lunatics.

Oh, and have a nice day

Oh, and have a nice day
I've been in contact with RIPP via email and they've sent a new tune, but it's still having issues...
And I've thought of the dyno, I just didn't want to spend the money to get something working the way it should out of the box. So what should I be worried about if the engine is running too lean? Is there anything i can do to fix this or is all in the tune? I'm pretty good mechanically, but electronics are Greek to me. Thanks!

I have been dealing with supercharged and turbo mustangs for years now. ANYTIME you put forced induction on ANYTHING you need to have a wideband installed and tuned on a loaded dyno. Tons of company's offer "can" tunes for there superchargers but every vehicle is different so custom tunes are always the way to go..

I have a new MAP sensor which has improved performance stability somewhat, but something still seems off. Hoping to hear back from the tuner that was reviewing my data logs, but he is doing this on his own time so I can make no demands. This has been a long process, and it's not over yet. Hopefully soon.
Ah, you gotta love it. I think you an I have a lot of the same feelings on things. I too have a MacBook Pro and will never go back to Windows. Having said that of course, I do bootcamp windows on my Mac. This is because I need on program and to use with the tuners I have for the jeep and my truck.
I don't know how the repositioning of the blow off valve will change anything. Would this change the timing of the blow off valve, or do you believe there isn't enough pressure down the line. Initially the guy at the dyno indicated that I didn't have a large enough blow off valve, because he thought this should be open until 90 throttle position. I don't know how a bigger unit would work, but I know I didn't want it to blow off pressure until 90%. Ripps has talked to me about it, but when we finally found out my problems were in the tranny then all is done. My blower is operating correctly, without any noticeable surge at cruise. The tranny is back in and operating correctly according to my brother. I'm not there to check it out and won't see the jeep until Feb.
Just a side note, I also have a bike with fly by wire. It is also a PITA for tuning. I've got a Harley with a 117 motor in it and a SE 58mm throttle body. It will not go 100% throttle. And it certainly won't go 50% until you've gained some speed on the bike. I am so used to cracking a throttle and having 100% right now. It is something to get used to.
Hey, Jeep_in. What do you mean that I'm happy the way my jeep is handling right now.?? I haven't changed anything in the suspension dept. I have no drivability issues. I'm just not happy with the way Chrysler made the auto trans. It is working correctly right now though.
