This also comes in handy if you live in a state that require stringent emissions testing, simply take the SDS out of the loop and your back to stock. You will not have to reverse any other part of the fuel or electronics to do this, A FEATURE NONE of our competitors can boast."

Notice the part in RED. Like I said. I cannot vouch for this working but they make the statement on their site. One of the reasons I went ahead and made the purchase. But not the main reason.
I haven't experienced it yet(as I don't heave one yet) but I'm guessing here in California it would fail the visual inspection along with the air filter not having a CARB sticker :-( Might have to play the game of removing the blower to pass smog every two years and enjoy it in the mean time.

Ahh how I love living in a no inspection state.

Do you know what sensors are failing? O2 sensors are pretty easy to trick with resisters!

You can drive a monster truck with tractor tires down main St in Tx, but you failed inspection because of a few not ready codes... Weird. Good luck bud.

I live in Illinois so no worries here yet so when that day comes I will cross that bridge. Just wanted to pass on what I read on Ripp's site prior to making my purchase.

So they actually pop the hood and look at the air filter. Wow

You can tell I have never lived in an inspection state. I thought they just shoved something in the exhaust pipe.

drive out to a rural county and get it inspected where they don't do emissions.

Your going to the wrong inspection stations. Find a hole in the wall window tint place, they'll show you where to go......trust me.

Diablo sent a revised tune that was supposed to fix it but it didn't. My mechanic will go back to Diablo, but meanwhile I'm driving around illegal because my inspection expired. Bummer, bummer, bummer.
Email ripptuning@gmail.com state the issue -they have tune updates for that

Funny you say that...I used to bring my friend "Mr. Daniels" to my vehicle inspections in Germany. Never an issue.
