Default Rock trac Transfer Case Swap

I want to swap the Command Trac NVG241 GEN 11 Transfer case from my Sahara 4x4 Unlimited 07 to Rock Trac NVG241OR Transfer case from a Rubicon.

The cost for just the Rock trac NVG241 tcase is $2300

What I want to know has any one done this before???? What else I need to get the swap done correctly.

So far based on my research here are the differences

The Sahara and rubicon both use NVG241 Tcase with same size and length.

The main difference is

ROCK TRAC NVG241OR
4:1 Reduction Gears
32 Spline Front & Rear Output Shafts
Larger Oil Pump
Fixed Rear Yoke

Command Trac NVG241
2:72:1 Reduction Gears

Rubicon has Front & Rear 32 Spline and Sahara has Front D30 27 Spline and Rear D44 30 Spline. (Will this make any issue)

JB Conversion jbconversions.com/pages/ has asked me to find out the input shaft length of the tcase. Does anybody know this.

Your help will be really appreciated.

Why not go with an ATLAS if you're going to put that much money into it?

I saw a 241R get swapped on Saturday.

1) Drop out old t-case
2) Pull harmonic dampner from 241R, put on new fixed yoke
3) Pull old yoke from front output shaft, put on new yoke.
4) Mount T-case
5) Mount T-case support
6) Connect D-shafts

The whole thing took 45 mins.

No links, sorry. It was in the rack next to mine, so I watched Dennis Gregory do the swap. The donor was a Rubi which had been upgraded to an Atlas.
