Default RockKrawler lifts

Any personal experience out there, good or bad, on the RockKrawler lifts? I was looking at the 5.5" mid arm X factor, Not the Plus. I know the Plus is not that good for on road use. Just looking for some real world input. I did a search and found a little useful info, just looking for more. Thanks.

Try the j k b o a r d dot com, they have a vendor thread for them there and I think a couple folks have that kit. I want the same one in time, supposedly they have the best on-road ride close to factory with no codes thrown for this kit.

That same kit was on my short list, but I keep hearing bad thing after bad thing, so it's kind of scared me away. Although it wasn't my only source the pirate 4x4 site has a thread or two about the negatives.

none of those bad things are related to the JK lift, though - they are talking about TJ and YJ lifts. read the entire threads on pirate. these a people that do major modifying, then tried to use completely bolt-on kits....people bitching about problems with the axle mounts of trac bars and controls arms, when they bought a kit that was made to bolt onto the oem axle, but they weren't using oem axles....stuff like that.

rockkrawler's customer service is top notch!

Yeah, same thing that I've run into. Not much on the JK lift, mostly TJ's. Wondering if it carried over.

This is the kind of stuff that I want to here too. You know how it goes, no one posts good experiences, just the negative.
