I have Shrockworks and love ‘em. They bolt to the frame and not the body, which offers very good protection when you’re out on one of WOL’s “newbie” runs. Using them as a step works well, because they do sit lower than the PureJeep rockers, but they don’t have the flat steel area like PureJeep.

The design and construction (welds) are excellent! The workmanship of Shrockworks is second to none.

I haven’t wheeled the PJ rockers, but I have heard from others that they really good.

In my opinion, if you’re going to spend a lot of time on Rocks or bashing around (and you don't mind dropping $$$$), then I’d go with Shrockworks. Otherwise, the PJ rockers are an excellent solution.

Shrockworks can't even get a design yet! ....but they do have quality products and are my second choice.
So they don't have "true rails"...and we didn't have a publicized design for a rear yet....good things take time....Aren't we talking about rails here

DUDE!!!! You DON'T have a rear bumper!!!! OMG! That's it! I'm sending my rails back... oh and cancel my front bumper order!

On a serious note: did I mention the AWESOME workmanship! The welds are fantastic and the powder coating is worth the extra dough! I can't wait to go out and smash 'em up once SoCal stops burning.

By the way, any chance I could get a status of my midwidth bumper? (Ordered through Northridge for Jeff in Placentia) Lastly, are you guys thinking skid protection at all? I like the Rock Hard skids I saw at Pomona, but am leaning toward Kilby's skids (which should be unveiled at SEMA)... any chance Jim can fire up CAD and put together a skid as well built as the rockers and front bumper????

I'd be in on that! Love my shrockworks bumper and rails so much that you guys would get first look for anything. Poor Jim - needs to work faster and faster coming out with new products to keep us happy! But the quality is worth waiting for.

WHAT!!!!??? POOR JIM! BAH! I bet he's headed to Hawaii next year after the HUGELY successful year he's had this year!

Seriously, Jim won LOTS of points with me a few months back when he actually came up with the midwidth bumper after listening to a bunch of us here on the site. Soooooooooooooooooooooooo, while I feel "bad" that Jim is working H A R D, I know he plays just as hard (have you seen the website! Must be REALLY hard having to "test" all those new products.)

Side note: good to see you survived the fires!
