Any close up shots of how it mounts would help me a lot. Better yet, if the rear mounts can be built to spec, I'll buy one site unseen.
It is a direct bolt on to their production bumpers but will mount to any bumper that covers the area between the flare and the rear of the Jeep. It sounds like you don't have this and as of now they don't have a solution for you. I do know they have looked into a bracket like you describe but they were not able to make it strong enough to put in production. Feel free to contact the guys at Treks, they may be able to work something out because they also have a custom shop in house called T&T customs. www tntcustoms.com xxx-xxx-xxxx.

the ladder is an option so if you don't want it, you don't have to

Does anyone make a basket that attaches directly to the roll bars when the top is off?

I know that Olympic makes the "quick n easy" rack which I'm sure you could attach a basket to, but it appears that they only have it for the TJ, LJ,and YJ.

I want to go with GOBI.

- Anyone have pix of GOBI + AEV Snorkel.

- My bigger dilemma is: Clearance in my garage. I am sitting on a 3.5" inch lift + 35 KM2s, which puts me at 6-4" right now. Adding this will bust the 6-9" limit.

I have the Wilderness rack from Garvin. It was on the Jeep when I bought it. The only thing I don't like about it is you have to take the license plate mount off when tilting it back.

I've been super happy with mine.
It is a Garvin rack that I customized to be shorter for the trecktop and it also mounts through the top to the roll bar.

They say the rack will have tabs for lights on the front and set up to run the wires inside of the front brace down into the cowl area.

Below is their optional lader installed.

This is my little (bigger) brother who weighs in at 285 pounds and he was jumping and moving side to side on it and there was no sqeeks, rattles, banging, etc. Very well built even for a preproduction piece.
That thing is perfect! It mounts exactly where I would want it to, it looks a lot stronger than others, i love how it looks to be able to flip back if need be, and the optional ladder is awesome!!!

Sorry guys, I don't have any close-ups and my rack is off as I am having a roll cage installed over the next couple weeks.
If you want to PM me early Dec, I will take some photos and elaborate on the mod when I have it back on the Jeep.
