Default Rough Country 2.5 Coil Lift Question with pics.

5 days after lift was installed.

3-4 Months after, with 33, (285/70-17 KM2s).
Should it have settled this much, some people say they can run 35s with their BB or Coil lifts, mine looks like 33s are as much as I could go.

Does this look normal to you guys?

Looks normal for people that have an RC lift. Get under it and take a pick of your coils, I bet the top 3 are compressed together.

Most do not have an issue with the coils touching, just like most JKs do not have all of the issues reported on the forum
10 month's...the coils do not touch each other, running 35's

and I do wheel it

Well I guess mine is normal. No coils touching, and looking at myklt8, his tires are stuffed unlike mine. Just looks low to me now. If I was to go with a 1 3/4" spacer up front and possible 3/4", would I have to do anything more with any other components on the Jeep?

I did not measure what I actually gained, but I have been very happy with it, and I do have a heavier bumper and winch...but you know I never had the rake to begin with.
I know there have been several that had the top coils touch, I do not know if it was a bad batch or what. If they do touch, I would call Ben @ RC

The coils touching are you refering to the front or rear. Thats what I dont get, mine still has a slight rake, which in beginning it did not have to much of one. But I'm on stock bumpers and not extras..yet. I am worried if I put a bumper I would lose quiet a bit more height in front or rear.

Yeah, it does seem, at least just judging what people have said on here about the 2.5 is it's about 50/50 on the coils not giving the height advertised and or sagging quickly. The guy I met with the 4in was really happy with his, he was runnin 34's. Maybe you ended up with 4in springs, I dunno. But I do know it sat lower than the other 3 & 4in kits that were with us.

the only ones I have seen pics of were fronts, I do not know if there are any issues with the rears
