edit - Sorry, I misread it. I was thinking it was a .75" wheel spacer not a coil spacer.

More lift wont fix the rubbing. Something has to limit the up travel.

It would be best to know where it is rubbing before hazarding a guess as to how to stop it, or whether you can live with it as is.

Not to change the thread, but how not having more lift not fix the rubbing problem Bump stops will control up travel

Front wheels just when turning? Maybe you could limit steering wheel turning radius. Here's the procedure if you think that might help ...

Actually, in hindsight I'm trying to reconcile these with what I wrote just above. I asked about turning, but perhaps turning has nothing to do with it. Which leaves me puzzled about exactly where the rubbing is if the tire is contacting the frame--you didn't specify which axle, for example. Hate to be a nitpicker, but you'll get better answers the more complete info you provide--a picture would be great, too.

In general, it would depend on where the rubbing is. If it's fender rub, more lift would help. If it's rubbing on the sway bar links, maybe not. Rear axle could be rubbing on the pinch seam, and more lift may or may not help--depends on how much lift and particular tire size. In this case "on the frame" suggests that the tires are too close in to the frame rails. A little less backspacing will push the tires out from those frame rails. Or, if it's just when turning hard, he can adjust the steering turning radius.
