Default Good Thread

This is exactly the info I was looking for. I still can't decide if the mono shocks are worth the extra $$ for occasional wheeling. Thanks for the info and can't wait to get my lift!

The spacers in the 2" kit are actually 2.5" in front and 1.75" in rear. 2.5" is the tallest spacer that RE makes for the front. However RE does make a shorter spacer than 1.75" for the rear.

That's correct.... the 2"BB Kit monotube shocks were made by Edelbrook instead of Bilstein....still a good one

Everytime i do mod on my car/jeep, i always go with Monotube because i like the firmness of it. Again, it's a personal preference

The RE kit comes with 1.75" rear puck and don't really need the brake line extension. The Tera comes with 2.5" puck. If you need it anyway, you can always get one for $14

I run this kit with 33x12.50s and could easily fit 35"s. which I probably will when I replace the tires again and add a 1" m.o.r.e. bl. I watched and helped a little also to learn, and it was super easy.

Glad I found this thread. I have been working with my local 4x4 shop and they are trying to sell me the Skyjacker 2" lift kit but with the Bilstein shocks.

I saw some of the previous posts about the skyjacker lifts and asked the tech to tell my how the SJ compare to the Rubicon Express and the Teraflex and the point the tech told me is that the spacers themselves are essentially the same across all mfgr's and that with a BB the shocks are what matter.

I just realized the same thing with my RE lift on my 4door, which may be more than yours, looks a half-inch on mine, im consider stacking another spacer or changing to 3" coils in order to level it out
