Well, since you said please....J/K

Here are some pics of mine....
I relocated my rear shock mounts awhile ago, so I added some hockey pucks on top of my rear bumpstops, because I wasnt sure if the new shocks from the 4.5" LA would bottom out.

But after using the ramp, I now know I can take out the pucks and get full stuff in the rear again
So in these pics I still had the added hockey puck in the rear, which kept the rear from stuffing all the way...

the reason i chose this lift is for one thing, rubicon seems to be a good brand of lift for jeeps. i have a buddy in tx who has delt with it and loves it. but i havent seen too many people on here with this lift so was curious why. it is little more expensive, but personally id rather buy what i think is good quality the first time around than buy cheaper and pay in the long run. and it is boasted that this lift keeps a good ride on highway, which i need to travel from florida to louisiana for my job. i have seen alot of lifts with spacers but i want the drop and articulation and have heard that long arm kits were the way to go. this is my first jeep and want to do this right the first time around even if it means i have to wait longer to save up money. hopefully all will turn out well, its already ordered along wth cooper stt 37x13.50x17, still lokking at rims though and many other upgrades, gears, snorkel, installing rockcrawler bumper tomorrow. appreciate the posts, it has helped me and made me a feel beter about my purchase, i went into this kinda blind. when its all dont muddin and rockin here i come!!

For all of you running 37's on this lift....I dont know how you do it?
My 35's tuck up in there tight and even rub a little in the front.
I know when my 35's wear out Im switching to 37's, but only if I do a body lift, or (money permitting) get tube fenders to clear the bigger tires.

I have a 2door but I LOVE my RE LA kit!
Handling is amazing! I took it to the BMW dealership that my girlfriend bought hers at and the salesman hopped in for a quick spin up the road and couldn't believe how good it felt.
"I can't believe a lifted jeep can ride this nice!" was what he said.

I'm running 37" w/ this same kit and I wheel it every weekend, I don't get any rubbing?

Did you get a ramp score? just curious.

Looks nice.

Talking on-road ride

Hey, new to the thread. Just bought an 09 Rubicon (orange) and I love the on-road ride and feel. I want to put a 4.5-5.5 lift on it and also run 37s. After you install the lift and tires how much difference in the on-road ride will there be?

Is it firmer, bouncy or??? How much difference will a long arm kit make vs a mid-arm? I am looking at the x-factor lift---any info would be appreciated.

Bill
