Good idea...

During Winter I replace mine on the door . The passenger side mirror is nearly useless with doors on. Don't get me wrong, it's a life saver without doors but with doors...

Very easy to store doors without mirror too..

Default RR Brackets

.I run soft doors all summer and I like the RR brackets. The mirrors are a pain to get off the first time but when I put them back on the hard doors I put silicone grease in the mounting cup to prevent the corrosion. Maybe the gang at RR would like to put a small tube of silicone in the kit?

That solved my problem. I had the Rugged Ridge Brackets, then I installed a snorkel. So I lost my passenger one. So what I did was hit up Ebay and found me 2 cheap replacement mirrors, bought me the Dietech Brackets (awesome, sturdy, easy install) and mounted my spares into the mounts. Now I hang them in the garage for when I go doorless. No more hassle of taking out the mirrors and more time for garage 's

Just confirmed fitment on a 2011 JK. The current brackets will work if you do not have the power mirror option...

If you have a new 2011 with the power/heated mirror option (standard on Rubicon) the bracket still work but your wiring becomes the issue. We will be looking into a new design that will allow you to reuse your power mirror head in the near future...

My 2011 Sahara should be in next week and this is on the top of my mod list. Please let me know via PM as soon as you find a fix for the power mirrors. I want to do the mod while the paint is still fresh. I should have an easier time removing the mirrors without the corrosion.
