Correct, you may wanna drop the tranny skid to get to the top bolts at the tfcase. You can doit on the ground. Break the bolts you can get to, jack up one wheel and rotate the ds to get the other bolts.

I really want to know what is going on with his rig, the suspense is killing me. Front DS deffinitely has to be ruled out, but I think the rear pinion angle is just too fubared.

You may be right, but there are lots running the stock shaft with this kit and no vibes If it's not the front, then yeah, most likely the rear and it may have been on the way out anyway. If it's the rear, he'll need to get rear uppers as you stated and might aswell go aftermarket shaft while doing so because that rear isn't gonna last long especially if it's vibing already. I was just eliminating all the cheaper fixes first.

SS doesn't vibe, theres only one u-joint on the stock front ds and none on the rear. They use rezeppa joints, once bad, thats it

Probably no help, but.

If I run my stock BFG MTR's over about 3500 miles without rotating, I will start to get slight vibes in the steering between 50-55 mph or so. 8k or so after a balancing they will do the same thing.

Ok I got all the bolts off the driveshaft, but how do I actually release it or pull it out??

Tap the pinion end with a hammer,it'll fall off , tap the tfcase end with a hammer, it'll get a little gap in the tfcase end where it seats and stick a screwdriver in the gap and work it out.

Also, that tfcase flange has a hole in it for a punch to knock the ds outta the seat, i was never able to get a punch and hammer up in there though, I did it the way described.
